▶ 0:22:02>> good afternoon. This is a hearing which has come to order. I want to think the witnesses for your time and effort and appearing here for your testimony. In conjunction with this hearing, I am releasing an interim report titled unmasked, how biden health officials purposefully turned a blind eye toward covid-19 vaccine, or I call them injection -- injury --
▶ 0:22:34Safety signals. I urge everyone tuning in to read the forward port how the title is as accurate as it is incriminating. Set the stage. Let me remind everyone Dr. david moran's now indicted for this. Under conspiracy and destruction of rhetoric -- records charges is an advisor to antony county and emailed colleagues.
▶ 0:23:02I learned from our lady here how to make emails disappear. And how you wanted correspondence on issues to be sent to me at my gmail address. Including this report is additional evidence of how federal health officials avoided creating a paper trail to prevent transparency in public disclosure.
▶ 0:23:26In discussing how they had been warned of a major limitation, the fda is data mining system, one official wrote we should meet internally. Many are not suited to email. Other federal officials appear to have openly acknowledged they were actively attempting to avoid transparency.
▶ 0:23:44Ac/dc official discussing the vaccine safety data stated I think because of -- we may have asked the fda to stop sending these weekly data mining outputs. In spite of their considered effort to concede what they knew and when they knew it, document we retained thanks to secretary kennedy's responsiveness to my subpoena and his commitment to radical transparency paint a clear picture of an obvious cover up by federal health officials.
▶ 0:24:14Our report shows how officials were warned and fully aware of the safety surveillance systems and ability to adjust for a statistical phenomenon called masking which according to medical researchers occurs when that signal -- hidden by the presence of other reported vaccines.
▶ 0:24:34Rather than use a newer state-of-the-art system that can adjust for masking, the biden health officials purposefully chose to employ the older system that conceals the signals for serious adverse events associated with the covid injection. Throughout 2020 one, fda officials received multiple analyses from the state-of-the-art system showing statistically significant safety signals for adverse events but made a conscious decision to ignore that data.
▶ 0:25:03On october 22, 2020, they touted -- by saying it can rapidly detect safety signals and can detect rare adverse events.
▶ 0:25:16But an email and a year later, when reporting worldwide adverse events of 837,595 and 17,619 deaths, the doctor stated it's not a database that should be used for serious surveillance and research. We have up on the screen a chart that I produced almost weekly once a started tracking this.
▶ 0:25:45It compares different drugs, adverse events reported deaths per year and you can see at the top of the chart, ivermectin appears to be a pretty safe drug. At the bottom, covid vaccines -- this is in october of 2021.
▶ 0:26:0517,619 deaths, it's important to note that 32% of those occurred either on the day of vaccination or within one or two days of vaccination. That is a correlation.
▶ 0:26:28In reaction, other biden administration in federal health officials were also publicly denigrating with comments like falsified report, potentially misleading. Frequently misused by anti-vaccine activist and conspiracy theorists, science deniers, and anti-vaccine activists can fill out the form. This is quite honestly contrary to reports in terms of the high percentage that are actually reported by medical professionals.
▶ 0:26:58The federal health agencies had to be sued twice before a court finally forced them to disclose the results of the system, and online surveillance system created specifically for the mrna covid injections. Here's why they fought so hard to keep that from public view.
▶ 0:27:18Of the 10 million people who voluntarily provided information , 7.7% sought medical care for covid injection adverse events and 25% lost time at work or could not perform their daily routine following injection. Even though I wrote 21 letters requesting information on what the agencies were tracking and what they knew about adverse events, I did not need a sophisticated mathematical models to tell me the covid injection was causing significant harm.
▶ 0:27:48The data depicted on these charts alone should have raised the alert level to devcon one. This first chart is showing deaths reported since the inception. You can see starting in 1990, deaths were approximately a couple hundred per year. Anaphylactic shock, those types of things. In 2021, deaths spiked to 21,631.
▶ 0:28:17Now again, I did not need a mathematical algorithm to tell me there is something going on here. And by the way, a lot of people say that's because we had ministers -- administered billions of doses.
▶ 0:28:32One of the letters I wrote to the cdc showed the rate of death per dose and compared it to the flu which is about .46 deaths per million doses and the time we calculated this, the covid injection was 25.5 deaths per million doses, a 55 fold increase over the deaths for the flu vaccine so something was going on here. A federal health officials should be paying attention. Let's do the next chart.
▶ 0:29:03This is the most up-to-date chart now. It is showing 39,077 deaths worldwide and understand, we will be adding this to the record that the report, hhs funded program of study at harvard university showed adverse events for vaccines are reported at less than 1% so this grossly understates the number of adverse events and deaths and you can see adverse events are
▶ 0:29:34Almost 1.7 million. Multiply that times 100, 30? These are dramatically understated. In spite of the shocking members, federal health officials continued to recommend the injection, claiming it was safe and effective. By comparison in 1976, after approximately 25 to 30 deaths and over 500 cases, the swine flu virus scene was pulled from the market.
▶ 0:30:02Biden federal health officials were clearly not as vigilant and reacting. For over four years, I had wondered how health officials could possibly ignore this overwhelming evidence of harm. Now I know.
▶ 0:30:19Our report details set on march 1, 2021, less than three months after the covid injections received in emergency use authorization, peter marx and officials reporting to him were warned by Dr. anat that an individual who these officials recognize as an expert in fda's data mining that the current system would mask safety signals for covid injection adverse events.
▶ 0:30:48The doctor proposed a new model, a new method invented by Dr. william of oracle. The inventor of the current algorithm to uncover the hidden safety signals. On march 26 of 2021, 26 days later, the doctor sent the data analysis to senior fda officials showing that the new analytical method found 49 examples of extreme masking.
▶ 0:31:19An uncovered approximately 20 five statistically significant safety signals associated with covid injection including -- let's put up the next chart here. Here is the sheet. These are the adverse events that they were showing a safety signal for using the new method. Bell's palsy. Cardiac failure, chronic. Acute left ventricular failure.
▶ 0:31:50Severe arrhythmia at the end of life. Preliminary infarction. Cerebral artery occlusion. Stenosis. Sudden cardiac death. Hypertensive emergency. Basal ganglia stroke. These are not minor. Remember, we are always told adverse events are rare and minor. These are not minor.
▶ 0:32:18In these safety signals were showing -- they were strong but they were being hidden because fda officials refused to acknowledge that the current system they were using was invalidated. And they had to look at the new system to unmask these things. Our report goes on to detail how federal officials refused to acknowledge these revelations or take action to warn the public.
▶ 0:32:42Instead, senior officials repeatedly stopped -- try to stop the doctor from continuing her work or communicating her findings outside of fda. In september of 2021, Dr. marks informed Dr. patricia, the then director of cedar that the doctor who was a cedar employee has been asked to cease and desist conducting her data analysis. Dr.
▶ 0:33:11Marks complained that the work had become a major distraction and that her efforts could create erroneous conflicts that feed to anti-vaccination rhetoric. Dr. peter stein, then director of cedar's office of new drugs, reported Dr. marks at his office and that they made it clear that she should not be discussing providing internal analyses externally and needs to focus on her assigned work. Dr.
▶ 0:33:40Sharpton, who retired from the fda in 2025 after more than 35 years of service, told psi staff in a recent interview she believed her colleagues saw her as a pest and persona non grata because she was raising concerns about masking. I witnesses today are medical experts in scientific data collection to help clarify the masking issue describe why this cover-up was so egregious.
▶ 0:34:06I want to thank them for the time and effort they put into our testimony and I want to thank secretary kennedy for his commitment to radical transparency for promising to make hhs personnel -- these events are available for interviews with the subcommittee and I want to give a huge shout out to my staff.
▶ 0:34:24These are the folks who found a needle in a haystack in a document production from one of the universities we were investigating 2.5 years ago and found that david moran's email where he was talking about being able to -- being told how to make emails disappear and to use his gmail so these are the folks who did that and these are the folks who combed through 11 million pages to find and
▶ 0:34:55Discover this egregious cover up so thank you, guys, and with that, I will turn it over to senator blumenthal. >>, thanks, chairman johnson. Everything that has been said, I think we ought to remember what it was like during the height of the covid pandemic.
▶ 0:35:23Literally the fear, the deaths, the loss, and then the relief as a result of operation warp speed. Which president trump ordered. And having a vaccine that gave people hope. And many people life.
▶ 0:35:49At the same time, none of the relief or hope enabled loved ones to come back. They lost lives and families had their lives upended.
▶ 0:36:10And we can never forget the heroes in our health care system who brave covid in delivering care to people who need it in hospitals, many of them for weeks, sometimes months. We are fortunate to have with us maria young. Thank you for coming here today.
▶ 0:36:34Who spent many days in hospital, close to 70 days in intensive care. Most lives were forever changed as a result of the vaccine offered a path forward for so many people and we should be
▶ 0:37:05Thankful for operation warp speed. In january of 2020 one, more than 20,000 americans were dying each week from covid-19. Between 2020 and 2025, more than 1.2 million americans lost their lives to covid-19. That is 1.2 million parents, children, friends, loved ones. And those deaths changed not only their families but their communities and our nation.
▶ 0:37:38Husbands lost wives. Parents lost children. In addition to those who perished, millions were infected and many of them suffered life-changing injuries from the virus and employers suffered economically as did our overall economy. And the survivors still bear -- many of them still bear the scars of that experience emotionally if not physically.
▶ 0:38:07Years of scientific analysis have shown covid-19 vaccines save lives. And prevented serious illnesses like the one is young suffered. I do not agree with president trump on a lot but I have to give him credit for the work that was done to create covid-19 vaccines in record time.
▶ 0:38:33Instead of talking about the success and remembering the ones we lost, vaccine opponents have turned one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in our country's history into fodder for political -- I don't get it.
▶ 0:38:51Today's hearing purports to discuss a cover-up of side effects of the covid-19 vaccine as a serious flaws in vaccines were purposefully ignored and let me be clear, they were not ignored. They were not disregarded. They were not covered up.
▶ 0:39:09The majority's report jerry takes emails and misconstrues an internal debate between scientists who were actively looking for ways to detect side effects to support a predetermined and flawed thesis that covid-19 vaccines have done more harm than good. That is not the scientific method to have a preconceived result and then frame the evidence to fit the outcome.
▶ 0:39:39The report and documents that the majority has released simply do not support the notion of any kind of cover nor do the reports and documents do anything to change our understandings of the vaccines as safe and effective. These points are important for the public to understand and with all due respect, nothing chairman johnson has released shows the vaccines were linked to any adverse effects beyond the rare ones that health officials have acknowledged.
▶ 0:40:11Indeed, the risk he claims was hit not only was studied openly but later shown not to exist. Without objection, I would like to enter into the record the four studies demonstrate the covid-19 vaccines temperatures save lives, Mr. chairman. >> without objection.
▶ 0:40:33>> there is also a really deep irony in the majority's argument given the current administration's effects to skew science and undermine public health.
▶ 0:40:48Last week, I wrote to the acting cdc director about reports that he has blocked publication of a recent study showing that covid-19 vaccines were extremely effective. At preventing hospitalizations. Last winter.
▶ 0:41:09That study still has not been formally released although I understand a copy was somehow leaked, literally hours before this hearing. Magically released but not officially and therefore, I call on the cdc director to officially release that report, again. I asked my letter to him to be entered in the record.
▶ 0:41:41>> without objection. >> I sincerely hope he and another -- never face another pandemic. I think most americans join in that. And that we are still able to find dedicated scientists and yes, pharmaceutical companies willing to work around the clock to find vaccines and cures and public officials who are willing to support and encourage and to
▶ 0:42:12Fund them with resources. I fear that this administration's actions to politicize science and to slash scientific lending and to expel talented scientists are doing irreparable harm to our nation's ability to counter the next pandemic.
▶ 0:42:35The threat remains real and present and you must respect science and encourage our scientists to continue to do their work. Thank you, Mr. chairman. >> thank you, senator blumenthal. I would like to enter a number of records into the record.
▶ 0:42:55First, the majority staffing and report and the 586 pages and 10 spreadsheets that support that report and second, my december 15, 2025 meditate hhs secretary kennedy requesting information about an internal fda memo on deaths of children following covid-19 vaccination.
▶ 0:43:16Then my march 23, 2026 letter to secretary -- detailing the findings about masking, how federal health officials downplayed the risk of stroke following vaccination of pfizer's bivalent booster and finally, the 2010 report entitled the electronic support for public health vaccine adverse events reporting system. This is what we call the pilgrim study done by harvard. I would like to enter those into the record. >> Mr.
▶ 0:43:44Chairman, I will be right back. >> sounds good. Without objection. So it is the tradition of the subcommittee to swear in witnesses so if you will rise and raise your right hand. Do you swear or affirm the testimony will give before the subcommittee will be the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth, so help you god?
▶ 0:44:20Our first witness is Dr. david wiseman, the president of synechion. There you go. I actually practiced that. A company focused on fibrosis and pain and received his phd from the university of manchester and has a background in experimental pharmacology.
▶ 0:44:45From 1987 to 1984, he worked at johnson & johnson, rising to the position of research fellow, leading vigilance. He published numerous top science journal. Dr. wiseman. >> [speaking another language. ]
▶ 0:45:08Dr. Wiseman: Can you hear me? Distinguished chairman, ranking member, and committee members, with today's stunning revelation, I am humbled to discuss critical flaws in statistical safety signal and potential risk detection touted by cdc as the nation's early warning system for vaccine safety and credited by former director marks with detecting both potential and actual safety
▶ 0:45:39Dr. Wiseman: Issues and informing vaccine policy decisions. Among limitations undermining the attention of statistical safety signals is the problem of masking. Masking occurs when statistical signals from one vaccine in a debate -- database associated with other vaccines. For example, moderna has signal becomes hidden if it -- the comparison baseline is inflated by including the signal reports.
▶ 0:46:11Dr. Wiseman: In a simple analogy, hemlock and arsenic appear equally toxic when they appear with a non-toxic baseline control. However, if hemlocks baseline data include arsenic data, hemlocks signal is drowned out or masked from appearing innocuous. Today's report shows that senior fda staff were apprised of the masking problem both prior to covid vaccine rollouts and repeatedly by Dr. emmett chapman.
▶ 0:46:42Dr. Wiseman: She is a veteran fda statistician lauded for bringing the empirical method into fda after collaborating with its inventor and developer of the associated signal software, or close Dr. william.
▶ 0:47:00Dr. Wiseman: She communicated the findings that extreme masking including deaths, infarction, stroke, and dementia, noting that I am not astonished fda's analysis worked -- fda's analysis was unable to detect these signals. She repeatedly advised colleagues of the improved procedures, not brand-new.
▶ 0:47:22Dr. Wiseman: They had been around a while, to address masking in the same empirical signal software used by fda and commercially available. Nonetheless, officials attempted to contain Dr. scharf and come asking her to cease and desist. Elsewhere, officials claimed ignorance on how to address masking and that developing solutions exceeded fda's capabilities, considering it problematic to use the brand-new, possibly on validated tool in the context of it.
▶ 0:47:54Dr. Wiseman: Fda had validated methods adaptable to the mask signals. In a special data run in the new documents, fda's document should found a trend yet to appear in the record. In the related prr or proportional reporting ratio analyses by the standard operating procedure, cdc somewhat accounted for masking.
▶ 0:48:22Dr. Wiseman: In 2020 two, they published in the leading journal drug safety there masking concerns and the improved method, unmasking hundreds of statistical signals for the covid vaccines consistent with my analysis.
▶ 0:48:36Dr. Wiseman: Despite possessing both software and it has expertise, regulators failed to implement the solution to correct for masking from a striking failure given the accelerated population scale deployment by operation warp speed of the novel and most complex class of drugs ever, mrna. Compounding further, cdc considered that its prr analyses were rendered basically redundant by fda's work, discarding its responsibility to generate these prr's.
▶ 0:49:08Dr. Wiseman: Accordingly, the united states left a fully functional early warning system at the time of its greatest need. Separately, statistical signals were trivialized by avoiding the term signal or potential safety signal. These failures are incompatible with the so enhanced surveillance required by their standard operating procedures, hindering investigation of potential risks, fda was obliged to consider even without having to prove causality and impugning
▶ 0:49:42Dr. Wiseman: Vaccine injury compensation, authorization, and approval decisions, principal of which was the hastened full approval undertaken while Dr. scharf and was voicing her concerns. Further, they marginalized those apparently injured by covid vaccines.
▶ 0:49:59Dr. Wiseman: Not only did the system failed to perform as advertised but as the drug safety paper presciently warned, the covid vaccine reporting daily was likely created masking effects that now compromised signal detection for other vaccines going forward and there are several papers that describe this.
▶ 0:50:19Dr. Wiseman: Regulators must swiftly correct masking and other deficiencies, heating earlier warnings from their colleagues who said failure to detect and communicate a serious health issue related to vaccines could impact confidence not only in covid vaccines but in all vaccines. Thank you. I welcome your questions. >> thank you, Dr. wiseman. Our next witness is Dr.
▶ 0:50:54Dr. Wiseman: Karl jablonowski. He holds a phd in biomedical and health informatics from the university of washington school of medicine. His research focuses on bringing about an end to childhood health epidemics.
▶ 0:51:07Dr. Jablonowski: Thank you, chairman. Covid vigilance is necessary. Our knowledge is limited. Even vaccines that pass clinical trials, we simply do not know what adverse events look like in a large population until they are administered to a diverse, large population. We had better be watching very closely, which is vigilance.
▶ 0:51:36Dr. Jablonowski: The vaccines, by honest accounting, were pathetically tested. No drug interactions study, no cardiovascular toxicity, central nervous system toxicity and other organ toxicity, blood toxicity, genotoxicity, had they actually turned out to be safe, it would have been serendipitous , a happy accident. Luck is not a pillar of public health.
▶ 0:52:07Dr. Jablonowski: From a co-vigilance -- pharmacovigilance is important. The vigilance heavily depends on three sources of data, the passive surveillance, the active surveillance, and the vsd, active system linked to medical records. It was designed to collect inconsequential data.
▶ 0:52:36Dr. Jablonowski: One of the first papers to publish it was a mortality and adverse events study. The only figure in the entire paper was a time series comparison for both moderna and pfizer, for both does one end is 25 adverse events no one cares about. The injection site pain, fatigue, headache, mild, chills, joint pain. Dr. renate engler is distinguished in the study of vaccine induced myocarditis among U.S.
▶ 0:53:05Dr. Jablonowski: Military with four publications on smallpox vaccine. On the cdc, she asked, if you do not ask, you will not see it but does that mean it does not exist? Within 50 days of that meeting, Dr.
▶ 0:53:22Dr. Jablonowski: Engler would start adding four more publications on covid-19 vaccine associated myocarditis and the cdc already had in hand -- the system had 10 million volunteers. About one third entered free text and perhaps there's some horror found in the 360 six individuals who typed in myocarditis. A condition requiring medical diagnosis.
▶ 0:53:51Dr. Jablonowski: That is amplified by the nearly 50,000 people who typed in chest pain. The vaccine safety datalink is a collection of 13 health care organizations covering 15.5 million people and it can detect safety issues within a few weeks , most frequently used as rapid psychoanalysis which can miss, delayed onset events. Better and timely options like vaccinated or unvaccinated is rarely used.
▶ 0:54:21Dr. Jablonowski: They would need a well practiced extra step of considering differences in health care seeking behavior. By the time the cdc's webpage was updated to warn of inflammation of the heart, 313 million doses were administered to 173 million people. I do not see vigilance at work. The cdc chose to ignore its own standard operating procedure and not run proportional reporting ratio is in favor of the fda's.
▶ 0:54:50Dr. Jablonowski: What they call more robust and the gold standard. They have been grossly underreported for the first 30 years, maxing out at 58,000 reports. In its 31st year alone, the amount 18 times that number and because of this disproportionality, the fda's disproportionality analysis was washed out. Since both vaccines were of the same platform and same adverse events, the comparison was muted.
▶ 0:55:20Dr. Jablonowski: The fda was completely blind to adverse events and the cdc was not even looking. There was a savior in the ranks of the fda who correctly identified the problem. Appropriately worked with the inventor of data mining to create a solution, communicated the fix to everyone who would listen. The problem is no one listened. Luck was not on our side. The cdc failed to look.
▶ 0:55:46Dr. Jablonowski: The fda failed to fix a broken system that the cdc touted as the gold standard. The hhs failed to protect us, especially after our freedom of choice was assaulted by the president threatening us all with our patience wearing thin. Invasion was well practiced and discovered obviously not through it.
▶ 0:56:07Dr. Jablonowski: Simply put, during the largest pharmaceutical rollout in human history, from a co-vigilance did not exist and that is the betrayal of our time so fast we cannot even count its casualties. >> thank. Our final witness is miss maria young who will discuss for severe covid-19 illness and how she spent more than four months in the hospital. Most of that time, the intensive care unit.
▶ 0:56:36Dr. Jablonowski: During her treatment at john hopkins, she was placed on a ventilator and their support. Welcome. I'm glad you're looking well. >> thank you. My name is maria young. Thank you to the committee members for inviting me to share my story today. Survivor, warrior, miracle. These are all words that have been used to describe me over the last five years. They are not words I would have chosen for myself.
▶ 0:57:08Dr. Jablonowski: For me, I was just trying to regain the life I had lost to covid before we had vaccines or any possible treatments. In 2020, and went from being a healthy, active woman with a full career to being sedated, paralyzed, and placed on life support within days.
▶ 0:57:27Dr. Jablonowski: I became a survivor of severe covid-19, acute respiratory distress syndrome, after spending 69 days after oxygenation and 70 days on a ventilator. I am here because survival is not the end of the story. For those unfamiliar, is a rare form of life support used when the lungs can no longer function on their own.
▶ 0:57:53Dr. Jablonowski: Blood is removed from the body, oxygenated by a machine, and returned. It is invasive, complex, and used only when all other options have failed. It does not hear the -- heal the lungs. It buys hope and a little time but that hope comes with significant risks.
▶ 0:58:16Dr. Jablonowski: Stroke, neurological injury, blood clots, infections, limb loss, organ failure, and of course, death. I spent more than four months in the hospital, most of it in the intensive care unit, I see, most of it in the medically induced,, and most of it alone. When I finally woke up, I had no memory of the time that had passed and no understanding of how much I had lost.
▶ 0:58:45Dr. Jablonowski: During those months, my family lived through trauma that still echoes today. My mother was told repeatedly that I was not expected to survive. My sister wrote my eulogy. My family prepare themselves for the unimaginable. All without being able to see me in person. Day after day, my mother waited by the phone for a call from my doctor with the update for that day.
▶ 0:59:14Dr. Jablonowski: They carried grief and hope that the same time, a bird that families of critically ill patients -- a call that families of critically ill patients know all too well.
▶ 0:59:30Dr. Jablonowski: Multiple infections including one that almost took my vision, blood clots, collapsed lungs, severe muscle wasting and deconditioning, delirium and hallucinations, prolonged sedation and sedation drug withdrawal, blood transfusions, a tracheostomy, a feeding tube, pressure wounds from a deep neck -- neck wound, and long-term cognitive and physical impacts. These complications are not footnotes.
▶ 0:59:58Dr. Jablonowski: They are the reality of surviving critical respiratory illness. They shape recovery for months and often years. They are especially hard when the diagnosis and treatment lack understanding and support. When I finally woke up, I had to relearn how to breathe, how to swallow, how to set up, stand, and walk. I had to rebuild my life from the ground up. And while I am deeply grateful to be alive, gratitude does not erase the trauma.
▶ 1:00:26Dr. Jablonowski: Survival comes with weight -- the weight of knowing how close I came to dying and that many others were not as lucky. When I was discharged, my list of diagnoses included decide anomia, cognitive impairment, demoralization, severe body deconditioning come along covid, partial vocal cord paralysis, post intensive care syndrome among others.
▶ 1:00:54Dr. Jablonowski: But alongside that is profound gratitude for the nurses who spoke to me even when I was unconscious, gratitude for the respiratory therapist who taught me how to breathe again, gratitude for the physical and occupational therapists who celebrated every inch of progress and gratitude for the doctors at johns hopkins who made bold decisions to save me including placing me on my stomach to try to improve my
▶ 1:01:26Dr. Jablonowski: Lung function and oxygenation, something that had never been done before on a patient with a tracheostomy. They believed my life was worth fighting for. And gratitude for my community, who held my family up when they could no longer do it on their own. My experience led me to advocacy .
▶ 1:01:49Dr. Jablonowski: Over the last several years, I connected with hundreds of survivors, people living with long covid, families who lost loved ones to covid-19 and survivors who carried scars both visible and invisible.
▶ 1:02:04Dr. Jablonowski: These communities are full of people who fought for their lives or their loved ones lives and emerged in a world that often moved on without them, many feeling abandoned by systems not billed for long-term recovery, by insurance structures that do not recognize the complexity. And by public narrative that treats survival as the end of the story. My work is to make sure that they are supported.
▶ 1:02:33Dr. Jablonowski: That is why I stay up-to-date on my covid blisters and other vaccinations. I continued advocacy with organizations to share my story through them and encourage everyone to continue to get vaccinated against covid-19 and other diseases.
▶ 1:02:58Dr. Jablonowski: Survival should not be followed by fear but by support, protection, and the chance to rebuild a life with dignity. Thank you for your time. >> thank you for sharing your story. I would love to connect you -- many of the things you said are the exact same words I have heard from covid injection injury. They are healthy and active.
▶ 1:03:30Dr. Jablonowski: All they wanted was to be seen, heard, and believed. Seen, heard, and believed so they could get treatment. They still cannot get treatment because they are not being acknowledged. This is a video of recordings of zoom calls between the vaccine injury -- by the way, I think I read they got something like 40,000 active members.
▶ 1:04:00Dr. Jablonowski: They probably would have more when facebook had been shutting down their support groups, leading to suicides among those lack of support. This was actually a known -- known in terms of what this video describes here. She writes beginning in march of 2021, covid-19 vaccine injured patients were flown to nih and this is march of 2021.
▶ 1:04:30Dr. Jablonowski: They were going to mass the safety signals using the algorithm. Vaccines are flown to nih headquarters for existing testing and evaluation and treatment. There are 23 of them. They were diagnosed as vaccine injury and specialized treatments that they say
▶ 1:05:01Dr. Jablonowski: Changed their lives. They were grateful that they were treating them and improving the severe injuries. They began promising participants that the study and the injuries would be made public. It was also copied to peter marx and acting fda commissioner jan woodcock.
▶ 1:05:30Dr. Jablonowski: They asked participants to remain quiet. Say nothing. Until they disclose the study themselves. They complied. They feared if they were to go public, they would lose the treatment, that all the thousands of other injured that were counting on them to be studied, to develop fears would not receive treatment either so they stayed silent. Holding onto the promise that help is coming for the many others nationwide.
▶ 1:06:01Dr. Jablonowski: That study and the injuries were never disclosed to the public. They were lied to. In this video, again, read my report. I cannot believe you read my report based on your opening statement. Read my report. It's irrefutable.
▶ 1:06:25Dr. Jablonowski: But the video is of peter marx, the man who was notified on march 1 of 2021 that the safety surveillance system that they were going to use to detect in those rare and mild safety syllables was invalid. It was going to mask those and hide those very safety signals.
▶ 1:06:50Dr. Jablonowski: Again, 26 days later, a state-of-the-art system showed 25 safety signals and I read how severe those adverse events were. But just listen to peter marx with the knowledge that he was treating vaccine -- they were not mild injuries. These were life-threatening injuries. These were a total disability type of injuries. So he knew it.
▶ 1:07:20Dr. Jablonowski: He was treating them. He knew that his safety surveillance system was masking these signals. They lied to them. Listen to what peter marx had to say. This is about a minute long video. >> there is incredible bs out there about thousands of people dying, etc.. That is just not true.
▶ 1:07:51Dr. Jablonowski: Nobody is denying adverse events occur but that does not mean any individual -- given individual might not have had something related to that. We are not denying anything. There was the number of cases which have not risen to a number that leads to a clear differentiation. It's a signal. There is not a clear signal that says we don't have a signal and we continue to query the various data bases and still have not seen a signal. >> he could not really tell.
▶ 1:08:23Dr. Jablonowski: You just could not tell whether there was a signal or not. When something has been reported but not as something that is clearly vaccine related. >> you guys know we exist. The public does not think that you know that we exist. >> that was breanne jensen at the very end there. Again, they were pleading with the fda, nih that knew there was severely injured by a vaccine.
▶ 1:08:53Dr. Jablonowski: Counting on them to make them public, to study the results so that others could get treated. To this day, they have not done that. Put up chart number two here. Dr. wiseman, again, I know you have looked into this in a great deal of depth. Probably the very complex mathematical models and algorithms of empirical bayesian analysis. I'm just a lowly accountant.
▶ 1:09:25Dr. Jablonowski: How in the world could the people who are touting there's this is a system that can detect small safety signals. They had to hire thousands of people because the overwhelming numbers of reports.
▶ 1:10:02Dr. Jablonowski: Did they need a fancy statistical algorithm to sell you something was going on with these injections? >> clearly, there is big alarm bells going off it. One of the criticisms -- anyone can report and all that sort of thing. It actually removes that from the equation.
▶ 1:10:35Dr. Jablonowski: But the key point about the disproportionality analyses, the beijing data mining, the prr, and others, that it removes that from the equation because of the niceties of how the mathematics are done so that's important so in the list of 49 events that you have listed there, these are showing signals and not only that, in the prr method, they
▶ 1:11:05Dr. Jablonowski: Are showing signals. So whichever way you look at it, there signals. The key point, senator, is that for the purpose of this eua, the fda will require to consider not only actual proven risks but potential risks and potential risks are represented by signals without necessarily having to prove causality. But in all the decisions, the law is very clear.
▶ 1:11:30Dr. Jablonowski: It says the fda has to consider actual and potential risks and by hiding the potential risks in the various ways that you described, the public were deprived of this knowledge. The doctors were deprived of the knowledge. The committees were deprived of this knowledge so every way you look at it, there is a problem. >> semi sophisticated mathematical model when people push back on this, it's because we have billions of doses. So we calculated deaths per million doses and compare that to the flu.
▶ 1:12:01Dr. Jablonowski: That is disproportionate. Disproportionality so flu averaged about .46 deaths per million. That's pretty disproportionate to me. Combined with that, you don't need -- they did not need -- and again, then they had the vaccine injured in front of them. They were treating them. They were diagnosing them.
▶ 1:12:27Dr. Jablonowski: Not with mild -- but with life-threatening injuries. Dr. jablonski, how do you answer that?
▶ 1:12:38Dr. Jablonowski: Several years ago Dr. brian hooker and I tried to pinpoint when -- existed to myocarditis and that dates back to february19, 2021 well before even israel contacts the cdc saying we see a whole lot of myocarditis and want to talk to an expert at the cdc.
▶ 1:13:08Dr. Jablonowski: We before anyone admitted to them on may 28. >> I will yield to the ranking member now. >> thanks, Mr. chairman.
▶ 1:13:34Dr. Jablonowski: I would like to enter into the record a 2024 study from hma and css that was quote no statistically significant association between either mrna vaccine and stroke and I would also like to enter into the record a letter from the american stating there is a quote substantially elevated risk of stroke in covid-19
▶ 1:14:05Dr. Jablonowski: Infection. >> without objection.
▶ 1:14:09Sen. Blumenthal: There is no clear let alone convincing evidence covid-19 vaccines have caused adverse effects beyond the rare ones public health officials have acknowledged.
▶ 1:14:26Sen. Blumenthal: There is clear evidence covid-19 itself is linked with many worse adverse events including stroke and there are signs the administration is regretting its implied or explicit opposition to the use of vaccines in america today because they are so contrary to what people
▶ 1:14:56Sen. Blumenthal: Across the country really believe, and correctly believe, that vaccines do actually save lives. I would like to ask Ms. young a couple questions but first I want to thank you again. Obviously this moment is a very, very difficult one for you as it would be for anyone recalling almost 70 days in a coma, 200 plus days in a hospital in intensive care near death.
▶ 1:15:28Sen. Blumenthal: At the time you enter the hospital there were no vaccines available. By the time you finished life-support there were multiple vaccines and millions of people had been inoculated. In a sense your story is about reentering the world, a different world, a better world, that would've saved you from this horrific ordeal.
▶ 1:15:59Sen. Blumenthal: But this basic truth, this miraculous outcome during the time you were unconscious became tarnished when opportunists began raising false alarms and warned of hidden harms for vaccines while hawking untested supplements.
▶ 1:16:26Sen. Blumenthal: Fear mongers attacked a scientist and public health officials who brought us out of one of the darkest hours in our nation's history and people angered by measures taken to contain a virus claim the threat it posed was never real to begin with. I guess my first question is, you remember when you first learned a vaccine against covid-19 became available? How did you feel?
▶ 1:16:56Ms. Young: When I woke up my first question is -- was, how did I get sick? Because I assumed, everyone I had been near through delirium and they had the tv on and I was watching the news and it felt surreal because people were getting vaccinated. Health care workers were starting to get vaccinated. I remember feeling a sense of relief. Like, this will stop.
▶ 1:17:26Ms. Young: Life will go back to what it was before potentially. And my family, my parents and sister, were able to get vaccinated the day they picked me up from the hospital. By coincidence there was availability. They also felt a sense of relief and hope.
▶ 1:17:43Sen. Blumenthal: You look great, if I may say. I have seen some of the pictures of how you look when you were in the hospital. I would not recognize you, which attests to the quality of care you receive debt johns hopkins, docs, and other specialists and nurses and heroes, not just there but all around the country, who believe in
▶ 1:18:15Sen. Blumenthal: Vaccines, who believe in science. How has the experience of battling for your life against covid-19 affected how you feel about vaccines?
▶ 1:18:26Ms. Young: I don't think I thought about vaccines much before. We just had them, they kept us safe, they had eradicated several diseases. Then afterwards it was like, why didn't it happen sooner? Why couldn't I have benefited from it? For a long time I thought why me, why did I get this sick? As I learned more about covid and other data that came out of it, I said, why not me?
▶ 1:18:55Ms. Young: I was 41, healthy, did not have pre-existing conditions. I was the reason we needed a vaccine.
▶ 1:19:01Sen. Blumenthal: I don't know the answer to your question "why me?" but I do know you were doing enormous good by being here today. And, as painful as that experience was, I think we owe you, all of us, debt of gratitude for your bravery and strength in coming here today and sharing your story. I want to thank you for being here today, thank you.
▶ 1:19:33Sen. Blumenthal: >> senatormoreno.
▶ 1:19:37Sen. Moreno: Thank you for being here. I assume that is your mom. Friend? I will get in trouble. My wife is back there saying don't ever say things like that. I can see the pain with you and your family. I'm sure you will never forget what that is like terry thank you for sharing your story. I think sometimes when we have this conversation about what happened during covid, and the ranking members said remember what it is like. I remember what it was like.
▶ 1:20:07Sen. Moreno: The government did a lot of good. In your case the vaccine help duke. But the government did things that were very bad. In my home state of ohio we had a health director that recommended we shut down schools. Those schools were shut down for 18 months.
▶ 1:20:28Sen. Moreno: We know now that under 18 you really did not have much of an effect from covid, there were zero deaths in that category yet we destroyed the lives of those kids. I think we can trace back to that day the youth violence problem we have today.
▶ 1:20:50Sen. Moreno: We had people totally disconnected including my youngest son who spent his senior year in college taking classes remotely and I can tell you he did not learn anything. Because there was no interaction with kids. In college you think of the important grades like ninth grade that are critical, third grade, socialization skill, eighth-grade where you will graduate into high school. We just robbed those kids.
▶ 1:21:21Sen. Moreno: Dr. wiseman, what are your thoughts as a scientist, don't you think there should be some idea of building confidence and our health care system and there needs to be a certain amount of humility that says, maybe we don't know other data, but you should be giving people the best data you have?
▶ 1:21:44Sen. Moreno: It it seemed it was a very one-dimensional data set that said this is the only thing we are going to tell you, the only thing we believe, and if you even questioned anything outside this data set or narrative, you are just a bad human being.
▶ 1:21:59Dr. Wiseman: I think you're absolutely right. I want to echo senator blumenthal's comments, what was it like? It was chaos. Everyone was trying to do a difficult job and a hard job. I think everyone would thank all the health care providers and people in government, but there were specific failures. The testimony we heard was very compelling.
▶ 1:22:28Dr. Wiseman: As someone who has been an advocate for patients with chronic conditions that are ignored, I empathize with the comments we heard. What echoed with me, why me? The why me that happened to me that answers your question senator, I had not thought about vaccines. I had taken all the usual vaccines, so had my family. I had no history doing any work with vaccines.
▶ 1:22:57Dr. Wiseman: A curious set of circumstances I got involved in exploring -- data. Hydroxychloroquine data.
▶ 1:23:17Dr. Wiseman: I argued with the authors in minnesota to give me the data missing and they gave me the data and those at showed when you plugged them in there was an effect of hydroxychloroquine, it was one of the two studies that closed down hydroxychloroquine. When I tried to get it published in january 2021 when thousands were dying as senator blumenthal correctly described, the response I got from the new england journal of medicine is, we don't think this will be of much interest to our readers.
▶ 1:23:48Dr. Wiseman: At that point I said this is a very big problem.
▶ 1:23:50Sen. Moreno: Because again there was a narrative and if you even questioned it, you were somehow a bad human being. Let's remind also what happened. You had a scenario where we have a lot of people on the other side of the aisle who like to say president trump is an authoritarian. He has not threatened to fire employees from companies or military members who refuse to have sovereignty over their bodies.
▶ 1:24:17Sen. Moreno: Hunter biden -- under biden 9000 members of the military were dismissed because they refused to puts an experimental vaccine into their bodies. How did we get to that place, Dr. wiseman? How did we get to the place where, I can decide for myself what I put into my own body? If that means I want to take the vaccine, good for you.
▶ 1:24:45Sen. Moreno: But if I decide not to, I lose my ability to make a living? Especially people who put on a uniform to defend this country. How is that possible?
▶ 1:24:54Dr. Wiseman: As a scientist, also a pharmacist, looking at this not as a lawyer, let them figure out the legal aspects, but the requirement required the secretary of hhs to make sure there were adequate systems to detect and monitor safety and inform doctors and patients receiving vaccines of known and potential risks so they could make informed consent about what to put in their body.
▶ 1:25:27Dr. Wiseman: According to the findings of senator johnson and his staff they were deprived of that, because safety systems designed and advertised as detecting safety issues were not working. They were not working. The early warning system was turned off and the problem still exist going forward for all vaccines. We want vaccine confidence. I agree we want confidence in vaccines. But based onm Dr.
▶ 1:25:56Dr. Wiseman: Sharpan paper and other papers, there is a problem using these systems unless they are corrected. We have to have humility, you're right. We have to have all the right information to make decisions so they can do what you described.
▶ 1:26:13Sen. Moreno: Isn't it ok to say look, this was a tough time, tough history, a lot of horrible situations going on and we made mistakes and just acknowledge mistakes? In my mind that makes it easier for us to respond to a future pandemic if the government has humility and transparency to say, we really screwed up. Dr.
▶ 1:26:40Sen. Moreno: Jablonowski, you must have a good email address, briefly talk about what was the effect of somebody like actin in ohio recommending schools to be closed, forcing kids to be separated and bribing them, ohio giving kids money and rewards if they got vaccinated.
▶ 1:27:07Sen. Moreno: What is the long-term effects have a policy like that for children?
▶ 1:27:12Dr. Jablonowski: There are many long-term effects. Social and educational. The one that sticks out to me is the lesson we are teaching the next generation. Bodily autonomy as you pointed out is our basic unit of liberty. Unfortunately I believe we live in a country we could not have sounded because we do not believe we have bodily autonomy.
▶ 1:27:40Dr. Jablonowski: If we did, on september 9, 2021, when joe biden threatened us all with our patience is wearing the thin -- then, declared vaccines to be safe and described a pandemic of the unvaccinated, he would not have been in office in the next day but he is, he was.
▶ 1:28:07Dr. Jablonowski: On the point of humility that is the perfect word because the then secretary of hhs could have changed history with one word. He could have summoned the greatest army of statisticians, mathematicians and data scientists under one topic with one word. That word was help. Please, help.
▶ 1:28:36Dr. Jablonowski: We launched a pathetically tested vaccine to the population and are only reporting system -- we can actually use the system, please help, or the expert at the fda's working with the expert in the world, describing our system is not working, has a better system, but we don't like their answers, please help. It would have saved a lot. >> thank you very much, Mr.
▶ 1:29:09Dr. Jablonowski: Chairman. Thank you to the witnesses. Dr. wiseman, if I could start with you. It seems clear to me based on the testimony we have heard today, based on investigation this committee has done, what we learned over the last few years, we saw during covid was not so much a public health campaign is a profit machine.
▶ 1:29:30Dr. Jablonowski: A profit machine for the big pharma companies that made billions and billions of dollars off a vaccine they did not adequately test about which they did not adequately disclose health risks. They made out like bandits, though. This is great for them. All the public health problems get offloaded onto other people, american people, costs get borne by the patients. They don't have to do anything and get rich off it.
▶ 1:29:58Dr. Jablonowski: In your professional opinion did these companies like pfizer and moderna, did they adequately disclose study and risks associated with these vaccines before they were forced upon the public?
▶ 1:30:11Dr. Wiseman: I think there was a lot of collaboration and it was stated openly, the government, the fda, the cdc were working closely with the drug companies so this was not a normal development of drugs we see in history.
▶ 1:30:28Dr. Wiseman: A lot of the stuff companies got away with where with the consent of fda who generously interpreted regulations concerning certain types of testing due to toxicity.
▶ 1:30:54Dr. Wiseman: In one of the attachments in my testimony there are 248 questions that detail that specifically. While the drug companies are ultimately responsible for their product, may be they should've taken the view of, even if the government says we can get away with it, we are not going to. There were clearly things they knew and over generously interpreted cancer studies, biodistribution studies.
▶ 1:31:25Dr. Wiseman: In the particular case of pfizer, there was the egregious nondisclosure of a particular sequence in the plasma used to manufacture the product of particular sequences derived from an st40 virus, sequences of it.
▶ 1:31:48Dr. Wiseman: They specifically in foia request we had from different countries, pfizer chose not to disclose those sequences, a very significant I think abuse of public trust, given they had the sweetheart of a deal. All the marketing was done for them by the government. That is a particularly egregious example.
▶ 1:32:10Sen. Hawley: Have you encountered other instances where adverse event data was downplayed or disregarded or outright concealed by either the manufacturer's or public health authorities in a way that had the effect of protecting corporate interests over patient safety?
▶ 1:32:27Dr. Wiseman: You mean outside of covered?
▶ 1:32:30Sen. Hawley: Know, and the covid context. Are there others we should be aware of?
▶ 1:32:36Dr. Wiseman: The question is, even though we have been discussing their data mining the fda conducted, we don't know what systems pfizer and maternal were using. They also have a response ability for formic -- pharma vigilance.
▶ 1:33:01Dr. Wiseman: Were they adequately understanding of the limitations of those systems and to what extent were they reporting them to the government? I can't give you more specific examples than what we have already seen.
▶ 1:33:12Sen. Hawley: What reforms would you recommend congress pursue to ensure this type of public health emergency, in cases like this we saw with covid, that pharmaceutical companies, private companies, are held accountable for adverse events and are not getting this sweetheart deal as you have been describing?
▶ 1:33:31Dr. Wiseman: I think there has to be greater separation between the governments and pharmaceutical companies understanding there was an emergency situation. There had to be an element of collaboration. There is something there but there has to be separation. Going forward for the subject matter we are discussing today, there are major reforms that have to take place in terms of making sure data is public collected.
▶ 1:33:59Dr. Wiseman: There is a person, eb -- there is a person, benavides, who has done a great job document and not. Companies should be using modified methods. Pir methods should be used with caveats. There has to be adequate oversight of exactly how these signals are going to be implemented or understood.
▶ 1:34:21Dr. Wiseman: The vsd, to your earlier question, this was a vsd issue they had seen signals for, myocardial infarction and embolism, 2022, but did not report them in the public domain until a year later so that was concealment. That was on the part of vsd program, not manufacturer's. A slew of things have to happen in terms of how we analyze data.
▶ 1:34:55Dr. Wiseman: Making we actually get rates of adverse events based on actual usage which we could have done in the earlier part of the covid vaccine. We could have done that. I did that analysis together with a doctor and normalized it the right way. We sent that to Dr. evans, the father of the pir method, and the moment we sent that to him in england he closed down on us.
▶ 1:35:29Dr. Wiseman: Clearly there has to be something in the government to look at these things, take people carefully. The father and mother of these methods were being ignored. This is not just any people, the father and mother as it were, of these methods. They need to be listened to and not marginalized or told to cease-and-desist.
▶ 1:35:51Dr. Wiseman: We don't want to know what you have to say, that is terrible and we need to understand what processes happened to make that situation possible.
▶ 1:36:00Sen. Hawley: I think the government working with private companies in the midst of a health crisis is one thing, collaboration is one thing, but systematically concealing from the public the true risks involved with this vaccine in a way that not only misled patients, that not only misled parents, then not only endanger the lives of children, but have the net effects of lining the pockets of the biggest pharma companies in the world, that is a disgrace. An absolute disgrace.
▶ 1:36:32Sen. Hawley: I think Mr. chairman that is what we have to learn from this crisis. Somebody did profit off it. We talk about how covid was good for nobody -- not quite true. It was very good for a handful of pharma companies that got a sweetheart deal with the government, who made billions off it and as usual to offload all potential liability onto somebody else and walk away from it. Now they are sitting pretty in the patients are told sorry, we lied to you, but at least the companies got rich.
▶ 1:37:01Sen. Hawley: We have to change this so it never happens again.
▶ 1:37:03Dr. Wiseman: They have a moral responsibility in my opinion. Whatever the government says they have to go beyond the letter and say, ok, we think there is a problem here. We have to look at our product honestly and say, we have to disclose all the risks, even though the fda allows us to say certain things. >> senator hawley, I thing it is in oxfam site that shows billions transferred not just a pharma.
▶ 1:37:33Dr. Wiseman: The big guys did phenomenally well. I do want Dr. jablonowski to answer the question, and the opening testimony he listed all the tests they did not do in the approval process. Could you read that list, again?
▶ 1:37:49Dr. Jablonowski: Certainly. They were pre- eua, no test done on cardiovascular toxicity, central nervous system toxicity, other organ toxicity, blood toxicity, genome toxicity, carson no --care -- carceno toxicity.
▶ 1:38:16Dr. Jablonowski: >> if you really want to know about the abuse talk to those who participated in the trials, astrazeneca and pfizer, and how they were completely abandoned. At the time may be a 12 or 13 world little girl, she could not walk, she was in a wheelchair, had to have a feeding tube. In the report from pfizer, they listed that as a stomachache.
▶ 1:38:39Dr. Jablonowski: One who has amassed hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills, astrazeneca sent her a check for$1300 or something like that and that settles it. They were abandoned by the companies they participated in the trials in and then abandoned by officials at the fda who treated them, acknowledged they were vaccine injured, then never told the public about it.
▶ 1:39:07Dr. Jablonowski: We have a real big problem in this country about vaccine injury deniers. Again, these vaccine injuries are real. But it is being denied. Mr. science himself accused people of being science deniers. I will accuse people being vaccine injured deniers. I have to point this out, this study, number eight. I have this chart for my november 21, and Dr.
▶ 1:39:36Dr. Jablonowski: Wiseman, you might have been at this public event with the vaccine injured. The blue lines are the number of new cases per day. This is december 2020 when the vaccine was approved and starting to be administered. You can see the cases peaked late 2020, early 2021, and started coming down.
▶ 1:40:05Dr. Jablonowski: The orange line is the uptake, the percentage of americans vaccinated with covid injections. It was effective, it would've worked, you think the number of cases would tail off. But that is not what happened. So in a previous hearing, put up number four. Two seconds. Not that one. You put up a study from commonwealth fund sing the vaccine saved 3.2 million lives.
▶ 1:40:38Dr. Jablonowski: My simple math I will prove how farcical that is.
▶ 1:40:45Sen. Blumenthal: I don't know any simple math, it is all complex. >> this is simple addition. If you look at actual deaths up to the pandemic, 2019, 2.8 million deaths. Population growing, aging. Compound annual growth rate under 1% a year. By 2024 we would have 3.1 million deaths. We protected about 2.9 for the pandemic year. Let's look at what actually happened. The year of the pandemic we went from 2.9 million deaths to 3.4.
▶ 1:41:20Sen. Blumenthal: Obviously something is happening. People like Ms. young. Half a million americans died. The vaccine came on board in 2021. I hate to use cull the herd, but the most vulnerable people died in 2020.
▶ 1:41:39Sen. Blumenthal: By 2021, the year of the vaccine, you would expect if it was that effective, if you would be saving 3.2 million lives -- by the way -- it went up to 3.5 million deaths. 2022, 3.3. Let's put up the last one.
▶ 1:42:01Sen. Blumenthal: In order to make the claim that 3.2 million lives were saved in 2021, 2022, you would have to assume once the vaccine came on board we were expecting 5 million deaths in both 2021 and 2022. That commonwealth fund, that study, that mathematical model, the algorithm is complete bunk, complete bs.
▶ 1:42:29Sen. Blumenthal: The vaccine did not save 3.2 million lives in america. What it did do is add serious adverse effects to the tune of 1.7 million. 39,000 worldwide and it dramatically understates what that number was.
▶ 1:42:45Sen. Blumenthal: Mr. chairman can I ask a quick question? Ms. young, you sat through all this stuff. If you had to do it over again, would you have gotten the vaccine?
▶ 1:42:56Ms. Young: Yes, without question.
▶ 1:42:59Sen. Blumenthal: You would've gotten it even knowing there were potential adverse effects and side effects which frankly there are with any kind of medicine these days, you still would've gone the vaccine?
▶ 1:43:13Ms. Young: Yeah, and that is how I think of it. Anything we take, medicine, vitamins, it has a risk. It was a measured risk at the time. I don't regret my decision at all.
▶ 1:43:26Sen. Blumenthal: Thank you, thank you Mr. chairman. And thank you Ms. young for being here today. I apologize to the witnesses and Mr. chairman, I have a hearing of the veterans affairs committee. Our world is many obligations at the same time, so I do apologize I can't be here.
▶ 1:43:45Chair Johnson: I appreciate that. In my letter to secretary kennedy on december 15, in point number 10 I point out a rasmussen study, a poll of american people to show 20% of the american public believe they personally knew somebody who is deaf may have been caused by the covid injection, 28%.
▶ 1:44:15Chair Johnson: That same poll said 48% of americans agree quote there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the safety of the covid-19 vaccines. Does not prove causation, but this is what people experienced. This is what they saw.
▶ 1:44:35Chair Johnson: Others say safe and effective but what the public saw and I saw this with people I knew, very serious side effects including one person I think died. A lot of people did not want to admit it, loved ones encourage them to get the shot did not want to admit maybe that is what killed them. I never asked the question and always had the suspicion with 28% of the american population. Dr. jablonowski, you talked about v safe.
▶ 1:45:05Chair Johnson: Talk about what it showed and what it didn't show, what it was trying to track. The adverse effects, things nobody cared that much about, the small stuff. It was not deaths or myocarditis. Talk a little about that.
▶ 1:45:23Dr. Jablonowski: The v-safe system was designed to pick up subclinical findings which in theory would be good because the vsd, wet mouth of the health institutions rely on, or only what is presented clinically.
▶ 1:45:48Dr. Jablonowski: However, in all honesty, the covid-19 vaccine rollout was a freight train going 100 miles per hour and nothing was going to stop it. V-safe was designed to ask 10 questions nobody cared about that was never going to stop this. If all 10 million people had checked all 10 boxes every time they were prompted, I still do not think it would've made a lick of difference.
▶ 1:46:13Chair Johnson: It also asked you to determine did you seek mikel care after vaccination, correct?
▶ 1:46:19Dr. Jablonowski: Correct.
▶ 1:46:20Chair Johnson: 7.7% of the 10 million people sought medical care after their injection. Is that unusually high for any medication or vaccine?
▶ 1:46:32Dr. Jablonowski: That seems awfully unusually high. The number of skipped workdays I believe --
▶ 1:46:38Chair Johnson: 45%.
▶ 1:46:40Dr. Jablonowski: Also unbelievably high.
▶ 1:46:42Chair Johnson: Dr. wiseman, one of the things not widely publicized is certainly pfizer, might have been modernity as well but pfizer got emergency use authorization based on a certain process, low batch process number one. But that is not what the american people or the world got, is it?
▶ 1:47:05Chair Johnson: Do you want to describe the potential problems of them switching the process regular -- regulatory, and the danger the new process -- particularly when we know people like kevin mckiernan are talking about massive amounts of dna above and beyond the acceptable limits.
▶ 1:47:29Dr. Wiseman: In general any time in any medical pharmaceutical product if the manufacturer changes the manufacturing process it triggers a very careful review of does this change the safety and efficacy of the product? That is the general principle everyone knows.
▶ 1:47:53Dr. Wiseman: The material that was used by pfizer, the so-called process one material, the rna was made in a certain way using a certain method. Only once the vaccine was authorized in december 2021 or slightly before, they introduced what would be the process two, which would be using a bacteria with things called plasmids, and it turns out there are sc40 sequences and they were using a
▶ 1:48:25Dr. Wiseman: Similar process modernity was using all the time and there was supposed to have been a comparative study done with 250 patients to show the new material was acting the same as the old material. That was not done even though it was slated to be done. That was a huge issue. By switching the processes it introduces different risks and profiles into the product that have not been properly studied.
▶ 1:48:59Dr. Wiseman: Fda allowed pfizer to slide in and do the comparison study. Process 3, end of 2021, where pfizer changed the liquid vehicle the vaccine was carried in from one kind of solution to another, which again was not properly characterized. That was called process 3.
▶ 1:49:26Dr. Wiseman: What was in the clinical studies even though there were problems with the clinical studies as well, that is a different problem, the public did not get the product that was part of the clinical studies. In the case of moderna there were changes to do with rna sequences in the product.
▶ 1:49:48Dr. Wiseman: There were questions ema, the europeans were careful in asking questions to pfizer and moderna about different parts of the process. They asked good questions. I did this with Dr. maria gucci. They did good questions and went through the documents extensively and got a perfunctory answer. It seems they were told to lie down and not do anything more.
▶ 1:50:13Dr. Wiseman: Multiple occasions in both companies there were lots of irregularities as to the questions being asked, the manufacturing not being properly answered.
▶ 1:50:27Chair Johnson: Dr. jablonowski, it kind of speaks to another problem. When you have no product liability, all the effort goes into getting a drug or vaccine approved, but because you have no liability, once it is approved, there is not a lot of effort on anybody's part. The regulators that approved it don't want to be proven wrong.
▶ 1:50:51Chair Johnson: The vaccine manufacturers certainly are not going to raise their hand, by the way we better pull this because we are seeing all kinds of problems. You have seen that with childhood vaccines as well. Want to describe that problem of lack of products andt produces from a standpoint of ploeger -- of post licensure behavior?
▶ 1:51:15Dr. Jablonowski: If there was no product liability for automobiles we would still be driving around in model ts. There is no development, no pressure to develop a better and safer. In fact there is a disincentive for them to look. It is a violation of the fiduciary duty to their shareholders if they actually look at their own product and find a problem.
▶ 1:51:42Dr. Jablonowski: So we are left powerless over this system that cannot be corrected by capitalistic forces if there is a liability issue. We just can't be.
▶ 1:51:53Chair Johnson: So the vaccines got the emergency youth -- use authorization at different times and they were licensed in august 2021. Again I was looking at vaers early on.
▶ 1:52:07Chair Johnson: A conversation I had with francis collins at the end of april, deaths, and 46% of those, because we were administering to the elderly, frailer individuals, 46% of the deaths were occurring on day of vaccination or within one or two days. Senator we identified six cases were reproved causation between the johnson & johnson vaccine in women of childbearing age. In terms of the other 2900, people die.
▶ 1:52:40Chair Johnson: I will close out with that thought in terms of the lack of incentives for the companies, the regulators who approved these things, to rigorously follow them for safety problems. Because they don't want to admit they were wrong in improving in the first place.
▶ 1:53:04Chair Johnson: They don't want to admit shots or injections they were doing videos on, telling everybody you have to get it, that is why god gave you two arms, shot and a booster in each arm. Nobody that pushed these things wants to admit they were wrong. The advice they gave may have resulted in somebody's death or permanent disability. That is what we are faced with. That is why we have this massive vaccine injury denying going on in this country.
▶ 1:53:34Chair Johnson: From my standpoint I'm not giving up. I'm not caving to vaccine deniers, or the ridicule and vilification. My next hearing will probably bring in the injection injured. Now that we have this report, look at the timing. Peter marx was made aware of this in march 2021, same time nih was treating people and they were admitting these people were injured by the covid injection.
▶ 1:54:03Chair Johnson: They were promised they would be studied, it would be made public, their injuries would be made public, and here we are end of april 2026. That has not happened. I'm on a mission to make sure that happens. Again I want to thank all the witnesses. Ms. young I appreciate the fact you are here. I encourage you, I can put you in connection with -- you will be dealing with the same issues.
▶ 1:54:34Chair Johnson: You have not been seen or heard, nor have they. I think it could really be a good conversation. Wonderful. We will do that. The record for this hearing will remain open 15 days until 5:00 p aim thursday march 14. This hearing is adjourned.
